First B Corp gathering in 5 years! Here’s how the program is looking:

Assembly 2024 is less than a week away. It will be an unforgettable gathering of B Corps, designed for connection and catalysing change. The program is coming together so well and we’re getting excited!

It’s not too late to book, secure your spot today! :eyes: Assembly2024.com

You and your team could be connecting with leaders from Who Gives A Crap or Clothing the Gaps while you explore the role of business in social change. Or, you might find yourself debating the challenges of balancing profit and purpose with the crew from 4 Pines or Marque Lawyers, or over 100 other B Corps!

Here are just a few of the sessions we have in store:

Join the various brewers in our community as they talk honestly about whether their positive impact can truly outweigh the negative impacts of alcohol, and what they’re doing to change social norms.

:arrow_right: Our financial system needs to change — but how? with First Sentier Investors this roundtable will cover responsible investing and stewardship to the strengths businesses can leverage to influence the future of our financial systems.

:arrow_right: How the stories we tell shape the future with Award-winning Australian actor, director, film-maker and activist, Damon Gameau. You’ll hear first-hand his insights into how storytelling can help to create the change we desperately need to see in the world.

:arrow_right: Is woke capitalism corrupting our democracy? with academic and author, Carl Rhodes, who will offer a challenging perspective on corporate morality and business’ role in preserving our institutions.

:arrow_right: Why Māori businesses don’t need B Corp with AWWA Period Care and Tiraki Wines. Māori businesses are already doing business ‘the B Corp way’ and have been for millenia. This session will explore the weaknesses and strengths of certification from Te ao Māori.
