The startup (www.veritas-energy.tech) aims to track and report scope 3 emission data after retail (i.e. during reuse/recycle/disposal), in context of circular economy. The startup aims to build platform to scale up the impact. In practice, however, they found it difficult to justify how business would benefit from the scope 3 emission (especially the downstream) - is this a real pain point for businesses, or just a nice-to-have? They target B Corps as their main customer segment. From a B Corp’s Consultant, is this service valued? How much should a business pay for this service, etc? Would you mind sharing some insights?
