Social Media & Online Community Team Lead

  • Fully remote role with a certified B Corporation
  • Manage several small project teams and run point on client communications
  • Best suited to someone looking for flexible, part-time work up to 20hrs/week. Potential to go full-time.

You must be an Australian citizen or have the appropriate permits to work in Australia. You should have some availability during Australian business hours at least three days/week. You will need to work autonomously as part of a distributed team in a small, lean business.

Desired Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in senior social media and/or online community roles
  • Expertise with all social media platforms and popular social media management tools
  • Demonstrated ability to implement social media and/or online community strategy and governance
  • Thorough understanding of social media risks and crisis management
  • Account management and the ability to maintain strong client relationships
  • Leadership that empowers teams to deliver to a consistently high standard
  • Consciously foster a positive workplace culture and uphold company values
  • Business development and preparation of service proposals
  • Outstanding written and phone communication skills
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Flexible availability, adventurous and able to hit the ground running!
