Small Marketing Agency as B-Corp

Hi All

Nice to meet you.

I’ve loved the B-Corp philosophy for a long time, but have repeatedly failed to get my employer interested.

So I quit. And am now looking to start a marketing agency that does good in the world.

I’d love to get b-corp certified, initially as a ‘pending’, but:

  • I intend to stay small, starting with just using freelancers, then maybe a few employees
  • I imagine being fully remote, and service-based

Honestly, I would be doing it partly for the PR benefit (marketing agency, after all), but I see that as bringing a good idea to the world, so what’s the harm?

Would appreciate any advice on whether I’m along the right lines.
