Hi - as we begin to monitor our travel and carbon offsets what counts as a valid carbon offset - is purchasing the carbon offset sufficient and are there alternatives?

I asked our consultant about this today on a call and he confirmed that purchasing the Carbon offset through QANTAS/ Jetstar or Virgin is a great option- these airlines are Climate Active certified as carbon neutral, so you know the offsets are monitored and by purchasing through the providers it reinforces to these providers that carbon offsetting is something people want.
