Our friends at Hue have put together a three-part workshop series for the B Corp community. We’re taking expressions of interest for B Corp employees, especially those in people & culture, operations, or leadership roles, to participate.
Hue is a racial and social justice organisation founded by two women of colour. They deliver a range of training programs that are accessible, engaging and strengths-based. This three workshop program includes:
- 101: Understanding Race & Racism
- Deconstructing Whiteness
- Allyship in Your Workplace
Throughout these three programs, participants will:
- Learn to use appropriate and nuanced race related vocabulary
- Contextualise racism within a structural framework
- Develop understanding of the impacts of racism on staff of colour and
First Nations people - Learn how organisations can be meaningful allies in racial justice
- Critically analyse white workplace culture and its impact on policy,
processes and staff of colour - Learn how to challenge racism and whiteness culture that are upheld
within their organisation - Develop skills for receiving and responding to feedback about racism
and discrimination within their organisation - Create action points for future organisational change
The program will be delivered across three 3.5 hour online workshops over three months. Interested? Comment on this thread or send me an email!
